How many countries did I actually visit?

I have visited 38 of 250 countries! That is 15.20% of the world!
I am so lucky that I have not only travelled many different countries around the world, but I have also lived and had an everyday life in some countries. Denmark is obvious – it is where my heart is. London in England I went to right after getting my High School (Gymnasium) Diploma and for 9 months worked as a kitchen assistant in a fancy hotel in Chelsea.
In Lahti, Finland, I stayed 4 months while writing my Bachelor Thesis about “Sustainability when arranging major winter sports events”. I lived and worked as a sales representative in Germany from spring 2002 until autumn 2006, where I went on a half year Round The World travel. During the spring 2014 lived and worked as a travel consultant 4 months in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
In 2019 I decided to take another step into big wide world again. I started working for TUI as a customer service representative on Gran Canaria, Spain and stayed there for 7 months. In November I was positioned in the amazing Dominican Republic, where I stayed until March 2020 when the World unfortunately was closed down due to the CoViD-19. After 1 ½ year back in Denmark, I finally in August 2021 got the opportunity to work for TUI again. This time on Cabo Verde until November. And from December 2021 to April 2022, I was back on Gran Canaria. Then in April 2022 it was time to move to Italy to work. This time I took my own car to destination Calabria – the toe of Italy.

You have already visited Scotland – but did you see it all, it packs a lot into a small country! It has huge big skies, so great sunrises (and sunsets); hills in every scale imaginable and some of the best beaches in the world. Then there is the wiildlife, the seafood, fantastic train journeys, too many islands to count … but then I might be a little biased.
If you loved Scotland then I am told you should visit Eire (Ireland)
